This SMS Privacy Policy describes how MCIC Race Team, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our SMS messaging program. These terms apply to U.S. mobile subscribers only.

Information We Collect

When you opt into the MCIC Race Team SMS program, we collect your name and mobile phone number. This information is provided voluntarily when you sign up via our web form or an in-person registration.

How We Use Your Information

Your phone number is used solely to send you SMS messages as part of the MCIC Race Team SMS Alerts program. These messages include practice reminders, event and schedule updates, weather and emergency alerts, and fundraising updates from MCIC Race Team.

No Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your mobile phone number or opt-in data to any third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your phone number for up to 24 months from the date of your last interaction with our SMS program, or until you request deletion — whichever comes first. Deleted subscribers may re-enroll at any time by opting in again.

Your Rights — Opt-Out and Data Deletion

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. To request deletion of your contact information from our records, email us at info@mcicraceteam.com. We will honor deletion requests within 30 days.
